Kisakye Ministries is a Christian not-for-profit organisation.
It aims to help families in severe poverty by providing housing, education and arable land to promote self-sustainability.
On a 40-acre site in rural Uganda, families are provided with housing, 1.5 acres of farmland, food to eat until crops are ready, medical insurance and an education for all of their children.
The project was inspired by Isaiah 58:10 which reads: “Feed the hungry and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness."
Kisakye is pronounced “Kiz-a-chee” and is a phrase from the Luganda language, meaning ‘God’s grace’.
